This product is a current regulation integrated circuit operating from an input voltage of 2.8V to 6V, capable of delivering a constant output current of up to 1.5A with an external resistor. The device consists of a high reference voltage, amplifier, current mirror, and other components. The on-chip power transistor and current sense block significantly reduce the number of external components required, making this product an ideal choice for LED driver applications.

The working voltage range of this LED driver is DC 2.8-6V, suitable for 3V, 3.3V, 3.7V, 4.5V, 5V, and 6V LEDs. The output current can be adjusted from 30-1500mA, and the maximum output power is 9W. When the CE (Chip Enable) pin is high, and the input voltage is greater than 2.8V and larger than the LED forward voltage plus the required voltage drop, the driver will function normally, delivering a constant current to the LED pin.

The device adopts a temperature regulation feature instead of a temperature function. This temperature regulation can ensure that the LED remains turned on continuously, even in cases of high ambient temperature or high voltage drop.

The chip enable function allows the device to be completely shut down, reducing the current consumption to within 1uA. An over-current block is also implemented, which begins to function when the LED current approaches 1.9A (typical), preventing the current from increasing further.
